How It Works
At Team Fitness, we work with you:
We design specific programmes to meet fitness improvement targets agreed in consultation with you.
These programmes can be designed for individuals, small or large groups.
We can help you to identify and develop the areas of fitness that are key to your sport.
You maximise the sports skills, we maximise the fitness levels.
Our approach delivers tangible results.
Our athletes will:
improve speed
increase flexibility
increase endurance
increase strength
In short, they gain the power to become more competitive.
Specifically, athletes can:
reduce muscle imbalances
improve joint stability
extend optimal playing time
buttress weak, injury-prone areas
recover from injury more quickly.
The result is better individual performance levels, leading to greater all-round achievement.

Case Study: Client B - Explosive Power Development
Client B is a striker with a top football club. His standard training consisted of medium paced running, agility drills through cones and some occasional jumps over cones, plus the usual soccer skill sessions.
Team Fitness designed a gym based weight-training programme for the whole body, and introduced interval training into his running schedule.
After 1 month, Team Fitness added light plyometrics to Client B's training regime. These increased in intensity during the subsequent 6 weeks.
Team Fitness then introduced more complex exercises - weight training and plyometrics in specific combinations.
During testing Team Fitness demonstrated that Client B had progressed by adding 7 inches to his standing jump height. This was translated to a much greater gain in the dynamics of the match situation.
